MANIFOLD.ArchitectureStudio was founded in 2002 as a collaborative office committed to producing progressive architectural solutions. The New York-based office pursues a range of projects to maintain an interactive dialogue between built architectural work and investigative design solutions. MAS’ body of work includes the completion of commercial and residential projects in New York, design strategy and innovative environmental design solutions.

Team

Kit von Dalwig received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Hawaii School of Architecture in 1997 and received a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation in 2001. Having previously worked with Seattle-based Olson Sundberg Architects and New York-based AKT Architects, Kit has experience with all phases of architectural design.

Philipp von Dalwig received a degree in architecture from the Technische Universität Kaiserslautern, Germany and received a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture and Planning in 2001. Philipp has worked on a range of projects from large-scale competitions to smaller-scale commercial stores and residential housing both in Europe and the U.S.; for Pei Cobb Freed & Partners; Baumschlager & Eberle; and Arnell Group.

The work of MAS has appeared in several publications including 25 Apartments and Lofts under 1000 Square Feet (James Grayson Trulove), The New York Times, Arquine, Misplaces, Laminated Glass News, and the Lightblocks publication.
