All visitors to the Hometta site have access to original editorial content, including professionally produced audio slideshow and video podcasts and a blog with exclusive content from contributing architects. Plans range from $1,195 for a studio efficiency to $3,195 for a 2-bedroom or larger. Our Builder Search feature will help match homebuyers with a qualified builder in their area.

A Hometta Subscription ($49/year or $9/month) gives users access to all home plan design renderings as well as our Construction Guide. The guide is an interactive tool that helps users navigate the process of building a house from start to finish. In addition, subscribers can view all the builder plan sets on our site and will receive guest logins for five builder(s) or other professionals to review the plans and give them accurate bids.


Prospective homeowners are responsible for the entire building process: finding a lot, hiring a builder, hiring an engineer and other third party experts. Most of our participating studios are willing to provide additional services, which must be negotiated between the plan buyer and the studio independently of Hometta.
